5. INDUCTION COOKING HOBS THERMINDUC
5.1.

NORMAL INDUCTION RANGE

The essential advantages of the induction cooking system
are:
- faster deployment, full heating power immediately in the
bottom of the cooking pot; the cooking plate need not be
heated up
- considerable energy saving, high efficiency
- low operating costs
- easy cleaning of the ceramic plate as it does not become
very hot during cooking and has less tendency to
accumulate burnt-in residues
- a pot recognition system is integrated in the induction
appliance; the loss of readiness of the empty hob after
switching on is minimal.
Operated from one side

The hob consists of ceramic plates and Wok bowls which
are incorporated firmly and without joints in a chrome
nickel steel top.
With appliances that have two cooking zones, one of the
cooking zones may consist of a glass ceramic plate used
for level-bottomed pots and pans, while the other cooking
zone may be a ceramic bowl for Wok pans. The Wok pan
is widely used in the Asian cooking and is becoming more
and more popular in the West. To secure optimal cooking
results, the shape and material of the Wok pan must fit the
concerned induction cooker.
Operated from both sides
