11. GENERAL INFORMATION for the user
- The appliance is intended only for supervised operation.
- The appliance must not be operated close to materials
and vapours which constitute a fire hazard.
- Directing a water jet or a high pressure cleaning device
at the appliance can cause damage and should be
avoided.
If a cooking plate is accidentally strongly heated, it must
be switched off and allowed to cool by itself. In no event
should a cold cooking pot be placed on the hot plate or the
plate be cooled with water. A wet cooking pot should
never be placed on the hot plate.
Saving energy
In addition to the potential savings inherent in the
appliance itself, there is a further potential saving in the
energy-conscious use of the appliances.
It is generally worthwhile saving where the consumption or
the connected load is the highest.

- Do not open oven doors unnecessarily.
- Utilise residual heat by switching-off at an early
stage.
- For small pieces of meat, use the cooking plate and
not the oven.
