Starting the Heating System

Vitotronic 100, HC1
Vitotronic 300-K, MW2S
1. Check the heating system pressure at
the pressure gauge A. If the system
pressure is below 12 psi / 0.8 bar the
system pressure is too low.
2. For room air dependent operation:
Check whether the ventilation
apertures in the boiler room are open
and unobstructed.
Note:
For room air dependent operation:
This boiler requires fresh air for safe
operation. The boiler must be vented
and supplied with air and exhaust
vents.
3. Open the gas shut-off valve B.
4. Switch ON the power supply, (eg. at
the breaker or electrical disconnect
switch. Energize power / pump
module).
5. Switch ON / OFF switch "8" C ON
on all control units.
The green indicator (ON indicator)
illuminates on every control unit.
After a short while, the standard
display appears in the display window
of every control unit. Your heating
system and, if installed, your remote
control units (if installed) are now
ready for use.
6. On each Vitotronic 100, "Htg. +
DHW" must be selected, otherwise
the Vitotronic 300-K, MW2S cannot
use the respective boiler to generate
heat.
Check:
rw must be illuminated, otherwise
press rw.
