Removing a PC Card

To remove a PC Card,
1. Stop the PC Card using the appropriate features of your operating system.
2. Ensure that the system is either running or has been shut down.
3. Choose one of the following:
• If your PC Card has external attachments such as connectors, cables, or antennas which prevent
you from opening the PC Card door, remove the PC Card by pulling the card out by whatever
external attachment is available.
• If your PC Card does not have any external attachments (or such attachments can be removed),
open the PC Card door and press the Eject button for the PC Card slot.
4. Pull the PC Card all the way out of the slot.
