10 Setting The Proportional Intensity

If, during the therapy session, your patient senses the intensity on individual chan-
nels as being too powerful or too weak you can select individual channels and set
their proportional intensity.
For this, touch in the menu bar of the main menu on the button
Changing
View.
The detailed view with the sliding controllers
1
for the individual proportional intensities is
displayed. The number of the active sliding controllers is dependent on the denominated mat
®
size S, M or L and also on whether the treatment area of the StimaWELL
Stimulation Mat over
which the wave flows is limited (CS, TS or LS). Above the sliding controllers are displayed in
white text the proportional intensities 2. Beneath these values there appear, during the stimu-
lation, the intensity levels
3
of the individual channels.
The main intensity
4
and the running therapy time
5
are also displayed. With the rota-
ry/pressure controller you can start the stimulation and set the main intensity. With paused
stimulation set the proportional intensity with the button
Standard Settings 6
back to the
basic setting.
Depending on whether the selected program is stimulating longitudinally or laterally, you only
adapt the proportional intensity of the lateral/longitudinal running channels. Which type of
stimulation is selected can be seen from the alignment of the sliding controllers on the screen.
In the case of channels running longitudinally, the letters L and R above the slider also indicate
whether the channels are located on the left (L) or right (R) half of the patient's body.
