The StimaWELL
Stimulation
Mat
shows which channels are
currently actively stimulating
during a running stimulation. The active channels are indicated by an orange coloured marker.
This enables you to follow the progression of the stimulation wave.
With the button
Pause
you put the stimulation on hold and the intensity reverts to 0. If you
wish to continue the stimulation, the intensity should again be increased. The program then
runs from the point at which the pause was made. Using the remote control, your patient can
also put the stimulation on hold by depressing the pause button. Additionally, the running
program can also be put on hold by depressing the rotary/pressure button.
With the button
Stop
as well as twice depressing the rotary/pressure controller, the stimula-
tion is halted and the program, including the stimulation time is reset to the status at the
start.
If you activate the button Stop, you will be asked if you really want to
end the therapy session.
Touch on
Yes
to terminate the session and reset the program as well as the stimulation time
to the start status. Please note that In this case a session running in the mode
Automatic
Program Selection Based On Indications
is not saved and will not therefore be evaluated.
More on the mode
Automatic Program Selection Based On Indications
can be found in Section
9.2.4.1. Touch on No, only to pause the session. In this case the session can always be re-
started by turning on the rotary/pressure controller.
®
The StimaWELL
120MTRS System
contains the function "Contact
Control". This prevents an uninten-
tional increase in the intensity
without the patient being on the
®
mat. If the StimaWELL
120MTRS Control Unit does not detect a flow of current in any of the
channels, the stimulation is switched off. The contact control cuts in from a level 15 intensity.
Please refer to Section 12.2.2 for how to switch off the contact control.
