If your patient is happy with the set intensity level you can, by touching the right hand arrow
or by depressing the rotary/pressure controller, change to the next channel. Alternatively, you
can directly select a channel by touching one of the two bars in respect of the required chan-
nel. Now switch in this manner to all 12 channels. Ensure here that the intensity for your
patient is similarly sensed on all channels. If in the meantime you wish to return to a particular
channel, touch on the left hand arrow or directly select the channel by touching on the perti-
nent bars. If, with the setting of individual channels you arrive at channel 1 far right, change to
the next screen by touching the right hand arrow or by depressing the rotary/pressure con-
troller.
Please Note:
The two channels on the cervi-
cal spine form an exception in the channel
setting of the lateral channels. Channels 1 and
2 stimulate in all programs longitudinally are
therefore only calibrated longitudinally. The
two upper channels always comprise two
neighbouring electrodes.
You are now in the channel setting mode for
the longitudinal channels. Each channel is
formed here by two neighbouring electrodes. The actual intensity of each channel is the mean
value of the intensity of the two lateral channels which form this channel. The intensity of
longitudinal channel 12 is therefore the mean value of the two lateral channels 11 and 12
because the two lower electrodes of these lateral channels form the longitudinal channel 12.
Now set the required intensity of all longitudinal channels. This functions in exactly the same
way as for the setting of the lateral channels which you have already carried out. Ensure here
that the intensity the respective opposing channels is similarly sensed by your patient. If you
are now at channel 1, up right you proceed to the next window by touching the right hand
arrow or by depressing the rotary/pressure controller.
After the body side related calibration proce-
dure has been completed, the evaluation of
the calibration will be displayed in the bar
chart. The height of the green bars shows you
the relationship of the proportional intensities
of the individual channels. The higher the bar
the higher the intensity proportional on this
channel. If the two opposing longitudinal
running channels exhibit differing proportion-
al intensities then both channels will appear in
a different colour. Lesser deviations are displayed in yellow, greater deviations in red. Touch
on Continue, to proceed to the next menu.
With
Back
you arrive in the calibration start screen. Please note that in this case you will have
to carry out a complete re-newed calibration in order to finish the patient profile.
