Programs

The programs of the StimaWELL
gram groups:
Pain Therapy (based on indications)
– programs for the treatment of specific back complaints and pain.
Muscle Therapy
– programs for the strengthening of the back musculature and for the treatment of tension.
Dynamic Deep Massage
– programs for dynamic deep massage.
User Programs
– for the combination of various sequences to form an individual total package.
All programs of the StimaWELL
which run consecutively. If, during the running of a program, the sequence changes this is
indicated by a short acoustic signal. How to switch off the signal transmitter can be found in
Section 12.2.2. Each sequence comprises a fixed defined number of waves of a particular type.
Differing stimulation effects are experienced by patients according to the type of the waves.
With a wave, the impulse flows once over the whole of the StimaWELL
the selected partial area CS, TS, LS. The number of waves in all programs is selected in such a
way that as a rule the sum of the individual sequence running times produces a total running
time of 10 minutes. If you now set a stimulation time in excess of 10 minutes, the program
starts again from the beginning once all the sequences have been completed. This means that
a set stimulation time of 20 minutes will result in the program running twice.
If you have created a patient profile for your patient and set the mode
Selection Based On Indications, the appropriate program will be selected automatically so that
in this case you are not able to select an own program. Automatic programs normally have a
fixed stimulation time which usually is 30 minutes. Your own settings are not possible here
either, unless you activate this function in the Therapy Options (see Section 12.2.1). More on
