Adjusting the dipped-beam headlamps
to left-hand and right-hand traffic
The symmetrical dipped-beam headlamps
are required when travelling in countries
where vehicles are driven on the opposite
side of the road to that in which the vehicle is
registered. Unlike the asymmetrical dipped-
beam headlamps, these headlamps do not
dazzle oncoming traffic. Symmetrical
dipped-beam headlamps provide less illu-
mination to the edge of the carriageway.
