Danger of injury!
Persons under 1.50 m in height and child
ren under twelve years of age cannot fas
ten the seat belts correctly. They
therefore require additional suitable
child restraint systems* on appropriate
seats for protection in an accident. Al
ways follow the manufacturer's installati
on instructions when fitting a child
restraint system*.
G
Danger of injury!
A seat belt only offers its intended de
gree of protection if the backrest is po
sitioned as upright as possible and the
occupant is therefore sitting upright.
Avoid seat positions that prevent the seat
belt from lying correctly across the wea
rer's body. Position the backrest as up
right as possible. Do not drive with the
backrest reclined too far back. Otherwi
se, you could be seriously or even fatally
injured in the event of an accident or
sudden braking.

Modifications to or work not performed

or belt tensioners could fail to operate,
e.g. in accidents where the rate of dece

or could be activated inadvertently. Ne
