Fire hazard!
Windscreen washer concentrate is highly
flammable. Fire, naked flames and smo
king are prohibited when windscreen
washer concentrate is being handled.

Coolant

The coolant is a mixture of water and anti
corrosion agent and antifreeze. It has the fol
lowing tasks in the cooling system:
• Protection against corrosion
• Protection against frost
Concentrate • Raising of the boiling point
in winter :

water When the vehicle is first delivered, it con
tains a coolant that provides protection

Service fluids and capacities

Only top up premixed coolant with the
desired antifreeze. You could otherwise da
mage the engine.
Always use a suitable coolant, even in coun
tries which have high temperatures! Otherwi
se the cooling system will not be sufficient
protected against corrosion and the boiling
point will be too low.
If the anti corrosion agent/antifreeze is
filled as specified, the boiling point of the
coolant will be about 130 °C.
