Refuelling process

Danger of explosion!
Fuel is highly flammable. Fire, naked fla
mes and smoking are therefore prohibi
ted when handling fuels. Switch off the
engine and the auxiliary heating* before

refuelling.

Danger of injury!
Do not allow fuel to come into contact with
skin or clothing. Fuel is hazardous to
your health if it comes into direct contact
with your skin or if you inhale the fuel va
pours.
The fuel filler flap is automatically unlocked
and locked with the key when you unlock or
lock the car.
The fuel filler flap is on the right hand side of
the car at the back.

Refuelling
> Remove the key from the ignition switch.
> Turn the filler cap in an anticlockwise di
rection and remove.
> Place the filler cap in the holder
inside of the fuel filler flap.
> Only fill the tank until the fuel pumpnozzle
switches off.
> Replace the filler cap and turn clockwise
until the handle grip overturns.

> Close the fuel filler flap

If you wish to fill the fuel tank to its maxi
mum level, wait 30 seconds after the first
switch off. Then start filling the tank with fuel
again until the fuel pumpnozzle switches off.
