Accident risk!
In the event of the car needing to be to
wed, a significantly greater amount of
pedal pressure will be required when the
engine is switched off.
Switching off the engine
> Put the gearshift lever in position R.
> Wait until R is displayed in the multi func
tion display.
> Slowly release the brake pedal.
> Turn the key to 0 in the ignition switch and
remove.
The electronic immobiliser is activated.

In order to ensure that the turbocharger
can quickly cool down after a full load jour
ney, the last few kilometres should be driven
at a slow pace or the engine should run in neu
tral for a short period prior to switching off
the engine.

The reverse gear R is not a runaway pro
tection device (parking lock), and if the car is
parked on a hill with a steep incline it may still
roll away.
The car must therefore also be secured with
the handbrake.
