4. Remove the battery.
Removing the SurePower Battery Pack -- insert a finger into the recess at the semi-
circular opening of the charging bay, press the battery's locking clip to disengage it from the
latch
...and then lift the battery out of the charging bay.
Note: If the Fault LED is on when you remove the battery pack, the charger beeps to alert

you that there has detected a charging fault. Do not use this battery pack in a
defibrillator or monitor until you have confirmed the nature of the charging fault (for
more information, see Troubleshooting Charging Faults later in this chapter.
