Before commissioning

Proper use

The power source is intended exclusively for MMA welding and TIG welding.
The integrated battery must only be charged with the Fronius ActiveCharger 1000.
Any other use is deemed improper.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from such use.

Setup regulations

The device is tested to IP 23 protection, meaning:

Cooling air
The device must be set up in such a way that cooling air can flow freely through the slots
in the front and rear panels.
Dust
Ensure that metallic dust is not sucked into the system by the fan, when carrying out grind-
ing for example.
Outdoor operation
The device can be set up and operated outdoors in accordance with IP23 degree of pro-
tection. Avoid direct wetting (e.g. from rain).
Power connec- The device is designed to be connected to a mains power supply exclusively via the Fro-
tion nius ActiveCharger 1000 (hybrid operation).
Generator-pow- The battery charging system is completely generator-compatible, provided the maximum
