AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
Part Inspection
1. INSPECT HEATER BLOWER SWITCH
(Continuity)
Terminal
Switch position
OFF
o (M 1 )
O (M 2)
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
2. INSPECT HEATER RELAY
(Continuity)
Terminal
Condition
Constant
Apply battery positive
voltage to terminals 1 and 3.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.
3. INSPECT HEATER BLOWER RESISTOR
(Continuity)
Terminal
Condition
Constant
If continuity is not as specified, replace the resistor.
4. INSPECT HEATER BLOWER MOTOR
(Operation)
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to termi–
nal 1 and the negative (–) lead to terminal 2, check that
the motor operation is smooth.
If operation is not as specified, replace the motor.
