Android 5.0.2 - Lollipop

All DIVUS TOUCHZONE produced from April 2017 onwards are equipped with an updated base version of Android:
Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Nevertheless the previous version with Android 4.2.2 offers the same functionality, there
are mostly only some minor graphical differences due to the different Android base version.
The other differences and improvements which come with Android 5.0.2 will be discussed now in details.
4.1
PRE-INSTALLED APPS
The same DIVUS apps are present and readily available, only the first generation of VIDEOPHONE has been
removed in favour of the newer and improved VIDEOPHONE 4. Additionally some default apps have added or
replaced with their updated version:

The stock AOSP Calendar has been replaced with Google Calendar (requires a Google account).

The stock AOSP Music has been replaced with Google Play Music.

The stock AOSP Browser has been replaced with Google Chrome.

The stock AOSP E-mail has been replaced with Google Mail (Gmail, requires a Google account).
-
Google Maps has been added.
-
YouTube has been added.
4.2
WI-FI SUPPORT
As with the previous image, also Android 5.0.2 can connect to Wi-Fi through the additional use of a DIVUS Wi-Fi
dongle. This dongle is not included in the product contents and has to be acquired separately. The Wi-Fi settings
can be accessed by swiping the status bar all the way down from the top margin of the screen and then clicking
-
menu you can enable/disable Wi-Fi, scan for networks and connect to them.
ATTENTION! The Wi-Fi dongle of Android 4.2.2 is not compatible with Android 5.0.2, a new dongle is required!
Likewise, the Android 5.0.2 dongle is not compatible with Android 4.2.2.
