connect a URL instead of an app, which after completed start-up will be shown within the specified default
browser. The functionality/configuration hereby is the same as already explained earlier in this manual for the new
URL functionality.
- scheduled reboot of the DIVUS TZ. The reboot is performed
automatically at the set date and time, showing a brief message before performing it. In the submenu the user
can activate/deactivate this function, select to perform daily or weekly reboots and pick a time at which the
reboot should occur, as seen in the following screenshots.
apps remain open for too long they may harm the overall performance of the device, so they should not be
running more than needed. By using this option such troublesome apps can be selected to be terminated. When
the system detects that the apps have reached the set lifetime it will attempt to terminate these apps. If one of
those apps is currently in foreground, then additionally also the Launcher is shown.
NOTE: Some apps may not be able to be terminated or will restart automatically after they have been stopped.
Terminated apps may still show up in the recents tab of the navigation bar, though they are actually stopped. This
function is also only available on the new series of DIVUS TZ.
ATTENTION! Terminating an app may leave the app in an unstable state and on the next start the app may behave
faulty. Further, the system cannot detect if the app which is to be terminated is currently actively used by the
user, causing possible termination mid-operation. Use this function with caution and at your own risk!
App Star The system
checks every 5min if the selected apps are running, and if not they are started. This is especially useful if you
want to make sure that a certain app is always running. If such an app should crash or fail, the App Starter should
make sure that this app is started again.
