6.2.2.3. Trap Setup

"Trap Setup" allows the user to define IP addresses of the trap listeners for when the asynchronous
fault messages are sent. A maximum of ten IP addresses can be stored in the Frame Controller. After
selecting "Add..." or "Remove..." IP addresses are entered one at a time.
Add Trap
Add a SNMP trap server IP address to the TRAP distribution list.
Destinations
Remove a SNMP trap server IP address from the TRAP distribution list. For
example, selecting this option reveals the list of IP addresses with the prompt to

remove one from the list:
Destinations
Displays a list of all entered SNMP trap server IP addresses. For example:
Show All Trap

Once the SNMP V1 Setup parameters have been configured, exit the SNMP Setup by pressing X then
<Enter>.

In SNMP V3 Setup menu, there are two submenus to choose from:

User Setup
SNMP V3

Once the SNMP V3 Setup parameters have been configured, exit SNMP V3 Setup by pressing X then
<Enter>.
