3.2 Si-Ware to Flowmeter Communications Setup
[Communications Setup] menu items
A full description of the [Communications Setup] menu items are listed below:
● Connect Using - Selects communication channels COM 1 or TCP/IP.
● Baud Rate - Selects one of the following baud rates: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200,
● Data Bits - Selects data bits (7 or 8).
● Stop Bits - Selects stop bits (1 or 2).
● Parity - Selects parity: Odd, Even or None.
● Flow Control - Controls the flow of data communication between Si-Ware and the input
buffer of the flowmeter.
● IP Address - This is the Internet protocol address, as specified by the Network
Administrator, designated for each flowmeter. If [Connect using] is set to TCP/IP, then
this is a mandatory configuration parameter. It has the form of four decimal numbers, 0-
