When should I use the USB extension cable and laptop
clip?
Use the USB extension cable and laptop clip in area with low
signal strength or when the position of the USB port on the
computer makes it awkward to insert the modem directly into
the laptop computer. For more information on using the USB
extension cable and laptop clip, see "Using the extension cable
and notebook computer clip" on page 20.
Is there a limit to the size of microSD card that I can use
with the USB 305 modem?
The USB 305 modem was designed and tested for 16 GB
microSD memory cards (the largest available at the time the
modem was developed and tested). However, as memory card
technology develops and cards come onto the market that have
a larger capacity, the USB 305 modem should support those as
well.
I inserted the microSD card, but the memory card drive
doesn't appear on my computer?
Make sure you insert the microSD memory card into the
modem before you insert the modem into your computer.
Otherwise, the computer will not recognize the memory card
drive.
