- Page 3 Installing O2 Broadband on Your PC: Insert the 3G SIM card that came with your O2 Broadband modem. Power on your laptop or PC. Plug your modem into an available USB port. Once connected, the installation wizard automatically starts. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the O2 Connection Manager, when completed the shortcut icon will appear on the desktop.
