The tape is fed normally but no
printing occurs.
Replace the batteries with
new ones.
Is the printing normal?

Are the thermal
head and platen roller
dirtied?

Is the
head flat cable connected
correctly?

Is the
thermal head defective?

End of repair.

If the platen roller or thermal print head is stained,
clean it with a cotton swab.
Black streak to
be cleaned

Correct it.
Y
Replace the head ASSY.
Enter the inspection mode (see Section 3.2) and do the
following:
- Select "Head Rank" in the Factory Inspection mode.
