Note: To avoid possibly damage, turn the system
and all devices OFF before making device
connection.
Software Installation
This section provides information on how to install the
PCI Serial 8000 Plus drivers. Please make sure the board
is installed before proceeding with the driver installation.
Windows 95 Driver Installation
1.
At the Update Device Driver Wizard windows,
click Next.
2.
Insert the driver diskette and click Other Locations.
Type in a:\Win95, click OK, then Finish.
3.
From the Insert Disk window, click OK. When the
Copying Files dialog box appears, type in a:\Win95,
then click OK.
4.
Remove the driver diskette and click Yes to restart
Windows.
Windows 98/98 SE Driver Installation
1.
At the Add New Hardware Wizard windows, click
Next.
2.
Select Search for the best driver for your device
(Recommend), then click Next.
3.
Select Specify a location, insert the driver diskette
and type in a:\Win98, then click Next.
4.
Click Next, Next then Finish.
5.
Remove the driver diskette and click Yes to restart
Windows.
