10.8 Protecting settings from unauthorized access
The following options exist for protecting the configuration of the measuring device from
unintentional modification after commissioning:
• Write protection via access code (→  80)
• Write protection via write protection switch (→  81)
• Write protection via keypad lock (→  44)
• Write protection via block operation (→  82)

Write protection via access code

With the customer-specific access code, the parameters for the measuring device
configuration are write-protected and their values can no longer be changed via local
operation.
