: FIXING ASSEMBLY ERROR CODES AND REPLACING THE FIXING HEATER
Reason
: After replacing the fixing heater, if the heater terminal at the inner side of the fixing heater is bent, the
lead wire assembly will come in contact with the plate on the rear side of the main unit. If the lead
wire coating or the faston's protective tube are damaged, there is the chance of a short against the rear
plate. (See Fig. 1)
If this heater terminal is
bent in the direction of
the arrow, there is the
chance of a short. The
dotted line shows the
correct position.
