Arched Face Thick Facing Template Part #

The Arched Face Thick Facing Template is a
separate component that is required when
using an arched face with facing that extends
beyond the face (e.g.: brick, river rock). It
attaches to the top stand-off with the included
screws. The top edge of the template forms an
arch 3/8" above the face, allowing installers to
use it as a guide for facing installation. Leave
the template in place to hide the construction
materials behind the template.

NOTE: When installed, there must be a minimum 1/8" gap
between the face and facing.

The facing is brought up
to the wall trim.
NOTE: Make sure to leave a 1/8" gap
Framing
around the sides of the face and 3/8"
above (for face installation).
Drywall
3/8"
Non-combustible facing material (brick, stone,
1/8"
marble, tile) - required if the facing extends in
front of the face on the sides or top.
NOTE: Make sure to bring the facing up
to the wall trim.
In this example brick is used.
The side facing should be spaced 1/8"
from the face (3/8" from the stand-offs).
