Create directory entries

Create a new directory entry
You can use the following steps to store a name and number in the directory.
1. When the telephone is idle, press MENU
2. Press or
-OR-
When the telephone is idle, press DIR.
3. Press ENTER to add an entry.

4. Enter the telephone number when prompted.
• Use the dial pad to enter up to 32 digits.
- Press or
- Press REMOVE to erase digits.
- Press and hold REMOVE to erase all digits.
- Press
REDIAL/
pause (a P appears).
5. Press ENTER to enter the name when prompted.
MENU/
• Use the dial pad to enter a name (up to 16 characters). Each time you
press a key, the character on that key appears. Additional key presses
produce other characters on that key. See the chart below.
