24 If not using performance monitoring, skip to Step 25. Use the Initialize Register command
to reset the performance monitoring data to zero for all input spans.

a = SPAN input (a = A, B, or ALL)
ALL = resets all performance monitoring data
25 If not using Ethernet, go to Step 29. Use the Edit Equipment command while connected to
COM1, COM2, or the CRAFT port to set the IP address, subnetwork mask, and gateway
address for the current TimeSource 3100 unit, as required for proper operation in the
managed element network. (These parameters affect all Ethernet ports. The Ethernet port
should be closed and all users logged off before issuing this command.)
