* 1. Host-side dual-loop is supported by using multi-path software on the OS or EonPath to provide path redundancy. Drive-side dual-loop is supported by RAID controllers with Fibre Channel drive side connecting.

RAID controller provides redundant path and dynamic load balancing across dual-loops.

* 2. SAS expansion ports connect SAS JBOD when there is a need to expand subsystem capacity.

* 3. We do not recommend using 3rd-party memory module due to compatibility issues. Please contact Infortrend for compatible memory modules.

* 4. There two cache backup methods. One is battery backup, providing power to cache memory during power outages. Another is cache backup module, providing power to save cache memory data into a flash

module during power outages. A cache backup module(CBM)consists of a BBU and Flash module.
