5 THE DISPLAY AND MENUS

5.1 THE DISPLAY

Figure 1 shows a typical display while
readings are being taken. The content
of the display depends upon the units
selected and whether extended menus
are selected.
ZERO:
Press to zero the gauge
(using a glass zero plate).
STATS: Press to view statistical
analysis of readings.
MENU:
Press to access the setup
menus and configure your gauge - see
page 9.

5.2 THE MENUS

Gauge configuration and measurement functions are controlled using menus.
Some menu items can be switched on or off (activated or deactivated). A tick box
feature. A tick in the box indicates the function is on (activated).
SEL softkey selects the option displayed and in some cases toggles the status of a tick box off/on.
Up/Down softkeys
across the screen indicates the start and end of the menu.
