6 STATISTICS

The Elcometer 224 Standard has a Statistics feature (STATS) which calculates and displays a statistical
analysis of readings as they are taken.
To view the statistics, ensure EXTENDED MENU is active (MENU/
EXTENDED MENU/SEL) and then press the STATS softkey. If
necessary, press the magnifier softkey to enlarge or reduce the size of
the figures on the display and scroll down using the down arrow (Figure
4).
The statistical values available are:
Number of Readings
Mean
Standard Deviation
Hi: Highest Reading
Lo: Lowest Reading
To clear the statistics and reset all values to zero, press CLEAR (this
function is not possible when a batch is open).
To configure statistics, press MENU/SETUP/STATISTICS:
• SOFTKEY ENABLED
Switches on the softkey when extended menu is selected.
