Select [CANCEL] with d/F m step 4
or [FXITj with d//, m step 5, then
press 0.
Note
If there are files on the "Memory St&' wth
names havmg the same last 4
diglts as the
file name of the Image to be deleted, these
files are also deleted at
the same time.
Preventing accidental
erasure (PROTECT)
Mode dial:

Protects images agamst accidental
erasure.

Set the mode dial
to 0.
In smglelmage mode
Display the Image you want to
protect with w/,
In tnpla-Image mode
Press the zoom W button twice to
turn to the tnple-image mode.
Display the image you want to
protect with *F
Press MENU.
The menu appears.
Select [PROTECT] with 4/b
m smgle-Image mode, or with
A/V in trIpleImage mode,
then press 0.
The displayed image (or the
nxddle-posmoned image m tnple-
image mode) 1s protected.
The h indicator appears on the
image.
To release protection
Press 0 agam m step 4. 0-n indicator
disappears.
