Reinstall
the US6 driver when using windows
98, Windows
SSSE, Windows
Me and Windows 2000 Professional
Perform all steps without skrppmg.
Turn on your computer and allow Windows to load.
Connect the USB 'ack on the camera and the computer with the
supplied USB ca bl e.
Insert a "Memory Stick".
Connect the AC power adaptor to your camera and then to a wall
outlet (mains), and turn on the power of your camera.
Open "Device Manager" on Windows.
For Windows 98, Windows 98SE and Windows Me users:
@ Open [Control Panel] from [
My Computer], then double-click
[System].
@ "System properties" 1s displayed. Click the [Device Manager] tab located at
the top.
@ Click [ :# Sony DSC] m ["J Other devices], then click the [Delete (E)]
button located at the lower-nght comer.
For Windows 2988 Professional users:
* Log m with the pernussron of a
strator.
@ Open [Control Panel] from [
My Computer], then double-click
[System].
@ "System propertres" 1s displayed. Click the [Hardware] tab located at the top,
then click the [Device Manager @)I button.
@ Click [View] m [D evrce Manager], then click [Devices by type @)I.
@ Right-click [ 3 Sony DSC] in [ 3 Other devrces], then click [Delete @)I.
Fp&s!,Jhe message appears to verify that you delete the devrce, click
Turn off the camera, disconnect the USB cable, and restart the
computer.
Install the USB driver in the supplied CPROM to the computer
following the procedure on page 33.
