Set the mode dial to IH .

the zoom T/W buttons.
4 Press the control button
repeatedly to select the
desired portion of the image.
Az The mmge moves downward
V The nnage moves upward
4: The Image moves nghtward
b The image moves leftward
To return to the normal size
Press the control button 0.
To reoord an enlarged image
(trimming)
@ Press MENU after zoonung.
@ Select [ THh4MlNGl wth b, then
@ KtYke Image size Wth A/V,
then press 0.
The image 1s recorded and the
image on the LCD screen returns
to the normal size after recording.
Notes

You cannot zoom movmg Images.
l
You can zoom Images recorded m TEXT
mode, but cannot mm them.
l
Zoom scaling IS up to 5x regardless of the
ongmal Image size.
l
The quality of enlarged Images may be
detenorated.
l
The ongmal data 1s left even if you enlarge
the Image.
l
The enlarged Image IS recorded as the
newest file.
l
If you trim an Image, the remarmng
"Memory St&' capacity will be
decreased.
l
If the rermmng "Memory St&" capacity
IS not suffktent, you may be unable to mm
an Image.
l
You cannot mm to an Image of 3:2.
