You can focus only on distant subjects m
LANDSCAPE mode.

Set the forced flash f when you use the

When usmg the SCENE SELECTION
mode, the AF illummator (page 25) does
not enut m the followmg condittons:

TWILIGHT mode: when the flash
mode is not set to the f forced flash
mode
- LANDSCAPE mode: you cannot use
the AF illuminator.
Tips
Under normal recording condittons, the
camera automattcally makes various
adjustments, such as those for the focus,
ms, exposure, and wmte balance, as rt
shoots. However, you may not be able to
carry out your destred shootmg
depending on shootmg condittons. The
SCENE SELECTION functton provides
you with near-optimum adjustments to
smt your shootmg situatton.

Thus mode IS used for a contmuous
recording.

Select [MODE] (REC MODE)
with 4/b, [BURST21 with A/V.
4 Record the Image.
To return to normal
recording mode
Select [NORMAL] with A/I m step 3.
Notes

You cannot use the flash m this mode.
l
Dunng recording m this mode, the Image
is not displayed on the LCD screen. Make
the composmon before pressing the shutter
button.
l
The recording mterval is approximate 0.6
second.
l
You cannot select a shutter speed slower
than 1" when recording two images
continuously.
