■ Scan types

Scannng s an efficent way to quckly locate sgnals over a
wde frequency range. The transcever has a prorty scan
settng and normal scan settng.
In addton, the "Auto scan" functon s avalable for scannng.
Ths functon can be actvated smultaneously, dependng on
the settngs on the SET mode. (p. 17)
PRIORITY SCAN

Prorty scan searches through all tag channels n se-
quence whle montorng Channel 16. When a sgnal s
detected on Channel 16, scan pauses untl the sgnal
dsappears; when a sgnal s detected on a channel other
than Channel 16, scan becomes dualwatch untl the sgnal
dsappears.

SCAN OPERATION

Set the tag channels (scanned channel) before scannng.
Clear those tag channels whch are not needed or nconven-
ently stop scannng, such as dgtal communcatons.
Choose prorty or normal scan on the SET mode. (p. 17)
NORMAL SCAN

Normal scan, lke prorty scan, searches through all tag
channels n sequence. However, unlke prorty scan,
Channel 16 s not checked unless Channel 16 s set as a
tag channel.
