Customizing ResScan
This section describes how ResScan can be customized.
 

Options Dialog

The Tools menu, Options dialog, has four tabs: Preferences, Follow-ups, Report and Download.
 

Preferences tab

Compliance threshold: choose the time that defines compliance for the patient. This figure will
be used in calculating the display for the Patient Most Recent Usage bar on the Start screen
and "Used Days > XX:YY" in the Statistics tab. This value is the minimum number of hours
patients need to use the therapy device to demonstrate compliance. It is also used to
determine the patient's CMS compliance for the compliance report.
Start Screen Usage: set a period between 1 week and 1 year for the calculation of the Patient
Most Recent Usage bar display. This field refers to the period prior to the last available
session for which an overview of percentage compliance is displayed in the Start screen.
Leak/Flow units: choose L/sec or L/min (this information is reflected in the Summary and
Detailed graphs).
Pressure Units (Statistics, Summary and Detailed Graphs): set the pressure unit display to cm
H
O or hPa.

Time Scale (Summary Graphs only): set the time display to either am/pm or 24-hour.
ODI Detection Parameters: set a value of 3 or 4% for the SpO
SpO

oxygen desaturation event to be detected.
Clinical Scheme (Settings for Stellar only): select between using PEEP/PS and EPAP/IPAP
terminology for bilevel settings.
Height and weight units: select between displaying height and weight in either centimeters and
kilograms or inches and pounds.
Summary Graph Ranges and Detailed Graph Ranges: set the lower and upper limits for the
parameters shown in the graphs.
