For example, if the backup power is connected to the BEC of your ESC (via your receiver), and that is supplying
5.0V, the Vector will use the PSU power unless the PSU voltage drops below 4.5V. Likewise, if your BEC is
providing 6.0V to the backup power port, the backup power port will always be powering the Vector unless the
BEC output fails.
Note that the backup power input will NOT power your camera or video transmitter. Only the Vector
and accessories connected to the "Bus" port will be powered.

3.2 Vector GPS/Mag, Current Sensor/PSU, and Accessory Connections

Connections to the Current Sensor/PSU (Deans
sensor, Alerter buzzer/LED*, and InfoPanel telemetry/status/menu display are shown in the figure below.
The "Bus" connectors on the GPS/Mag and other accessories are internally connected together. Wiring
order, or which of the two connectors on each sensor is used, does not matter. In other words, you can plug
into either "Bus" connector, and if you "daisy-chain" the Airspeed with the GPS/Mag, either unit can be at the
head of the chain.
The InfoPanel can be "hot" plugged and unplugged. If you wish to use the InfoPanel either before or
after flying, and don't wish to permanently mount it on your model. If you plan on doing this, the InfoPanel
should be connected at the end of the chain.
* The high power LEDs and buzzers in the Alerter Buzzer/LCD impose restrictions on the 5V PSU. Do not
exceed 500mA current draw on the 5V PSU tap when using the Alerter, and see section 3.5.2.1 before
using the GoPro AV Harness!
Never connect the GPS/Mag or other accessories to the Vector's AUDIO connection. Doing so will destroy the
sensor!
