Setting the fuser control temperature

Description
Changes the fuser control temperature.
Purpose
Normally no change is necessary. However, can be used to prevent curling or creasing of paper, or solve a
fuser problem on thick paper.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the item to be set.
3. Change the setting using the cursor left/right keys.
Display

1ST FEED TEMP

PRINT TEMP T3
PRINT TEMP T4
4. Press the start key. The value is set.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
Checking the fuser temperature

Description
Displays the fuser temperature, the ambient temperature.
Purpose
To check the fuser temperature, the ambient temperature.
Method
1. Press the start key. The fuser temperature and ambient temperature are displayed in centigrade (%).

Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
Turning all LEDs on

Description
Turns all the LEDs on the operation panel on.
Purpose
To check if all the LEDs on the operation panel light.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Select EXECUTE and press the start key.
All the LEDs on the operation panel light.
3. Press the stop key. The LEDs turns off.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
