Chapter 4: AMI BIOS
Isoc
Select Enabled to enable Isochronous support to meet QoS (Quality of Service)
requirements. This feature is especially important for Intel Virtualization Technol-
ogy support. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
MesegEn
Select Enabled for Message support. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
QPI (Quick Path Interconnect) Link Speed Mode
Use this feature to select data transfer speed for QPI Link connections. The
options are Fast and Slow.
QPI Link Frequency Select
Use this feature to select the desired QPI frequency. The options are Auto, 6.4
GT/s, 7.2 GT/s, and 8.0 GT/s.
Snoop Mode
Use this feature to select the snoop mode for the system. The options are Early
Snoop, Home Snoop, Home Directory Snoop, Home Directory Snoop with OSB,
and Auto.
DIMM Configuration
This section displays the following DIMM information.
Current Memory Mode
This item displays the current memory mode.
Current Memory Speed
This item displays the current memory speed.
Mirroring
This item displays whether memory mirroring is supported by the motherboard.
Memory mirroring creates a duplicate copy of the data stored in the memory to
enhance data security.
Sparing
This item displays if memory sparing is supported by the motherboard. Memory
sparing enhances system performance.
