Replacing the original thermostat
NOTE: Before replacing the thermostat, disconnect the heating/air-conditioning system from the
main power in your flat. This will prevent potential electrical accident. Before disconnecting the
leads, read the following instructions thoroughly.
1. Turn off the original thermostat and remove the thermostat cover.
2. Unscrew the thermostat from the wall panel.
3. Unscrew the connecting rear plate of the thermostat from the wall. Pull the rear plate slightly
from the wall, but do not disconnect any wires yet.
Marking of wires
1. Identify and disconnect each wire.
2. Secure wires against pulling out.
3. Prevent air leakage through the insulating foam if the space behind the thermostat is too large.
This is to prevent incorrect temperature measurement.

Thermostat location

Thermostat (control unit) location significantly affects its function. Choose a location where
members of the family spend most of their time, preferably on the inside wall where air circulates
freely, with no direct sunshine. Do not place the thermostat in the vicinity of heat sources (such as
TV sets, radiators, fridges), or close to a door. Failure to comply with these recommendations will
lead to erroneous room temperature control.
Mounting the switching unit onto the wall

2. Mark positions of the holes.
3. Drill two holes, carefully insert plastic dowels and use two screws to retain the rear part of the
