Lock the Machine Settings
Turn Setting Lock On

1. Press
[Settings] > [All Settings] > [General Setup] > [Setting Lock] > [Lock
Off⇒On].
If your machine displays the [All Settings] menu on the Home screen, skip the [Settings] menu.
2. Enter the current four-digit password.
3. Press [OK].
To turn Setting Lock off, press
MFC-L8900CDW/MFC-L9570CDW
1. Press [Admin Settings].
2. Type the current password, and then press [OK].
3. Press [Restriction Management] > [Setting Lock] > [On].
4. When the machine prompts you to select the next step, choose your selection.
To turn Setting Lock off, repeat the step 1 and 2, and then press [Restriction Management] >
[Setting Lock] > [Off].
