Symptom and possible causes
1. Defective ignition coil.
2. Defective spark plug.
3. Defective trigger coil or ignitor unit.
1. Mixture too rich.
2. Too high idle speed.

4. Dirty element in air cleaner.
5. Spark plug too cold.
1.Worn piston rings.
2.Pistons or cylinder worn.
3.Excessive clearance of valve stems in valve guides.
4.Worn stem oil seals.
1.Spark plug too hot.
2.The engine overheats.
3.Defective trigger coil or ignitor unit.
4.Spark plug loose.
5.Mixture too poor.
1.Opened or shorted in lead wires, or loose lead
connections.
2.Shorted, grounded or opened generator coils.
