After you install the double feed prevention roller, rotate the roller until it can no longer turn freely.

Make sure that the shafts are inserted into the left and right holes of the double feed prevention
roller. If the roller is not installed correctly, it may cause double feeding or a paper jam.

Insert the tabs, and close the double feed prevention roller cover by pushing it until it clicks into place.

Make sure that the left and right rubber parts of the double feed prevention roller are located in the
center of the holes of the double feed prevention roller cover.
•
Make sure that the double feed prevention roller cover does not stick up. If the double feed prevention
roller cover is not completely closed, damage or paper jams may occur.

Close the ADF door (page 34).
10.
Plug in the power cord and connect the USB cable.
