The PROXXON scroll saw DSH is a machine with a very
high cuüing performance especially suitable for mould ma-
king, precision mechanics, modelmaking and toolmanufac-
turing. The ideal tool for curved cuts in wood, plastic
material and non-ferrous metals.
This manual comprises:

. operating and maintenance instructions
. spare parts list.

Using this manual will
. help you to understand the machine,
. avold malfunctions caused by unexpert operation,
o increase the lifetime of the machine.
Keep this manual always close at hand.
Do not operate the machine, unless you are fully lamiliar
with it. Follow these instructions.
PROXXON shall not assume tiabitity for safe functioning
. if the machine is used in a way which does not comply
with the usual modes of operation,
o if it is used for purposes other than those mentioned in
these instructions,
. if the safety instructions are not observed.
No warranty claims can be lodged for damage resulting lrom
. operating errors,
o insutficientmaintenance.
Please observe the safety regulations for your own safety.
Use only original PROXXON spare parts.
We reserve the right for technical modifications without prior
notification.

Safety regulations
Please read and awly trc following safety regutations
before statting to wok wih the madtine, in order to avoid
injufies or starting a fire.
. Keep the working area clean and ticty.
. Do not wear loose clothes or jewellery.
r Examine the machine for any obvious faults belore
starting to work. Replace ddective parts.
. Do nol use electrical tools in rain, under wet conditions,
near inllammable liquids or gases.
r Before starting the machine make sure that all tools have
been removed.
. Avoid contact with grounded parts such as pipes,
radiators, cookers and ref ridgerators.
. Keep children away from the working area.
. Do not use too weak tools lor too hard work.
. Do not overload the machine.
r Store unused tools in a locked up room out of the reach
of children.
. Replace blunt saw blades.
. Do not carry the machine by the electric cable.
. Protect the power cable against heat and sharp edges.

. Clean the machine thoroughly after linishing wok.
. Pull the mains plug out when carrying out maintenance
work, when changing the saw blade or when repairing
the machine.
. Repairs in the electrical system must only be carried
out
by a specialist.
Use only accessories and spare parts which are
recommended in these instructions or by the
manufacturer.
Wear protective goggles.
Use a pushing rod.
Fasten the machine securely betore starting work.
Always keep the operating instructions in a safe place.
Protect the mains supply cable against being damaged.
