time. Slightly under cook pasta that will be heated again in casserole. Stir and let stand, uncovered for 5
minutes.
Combine ¼ cup of quick cooking oats, pinch salt and ⅔ cups hot tap water in a breakfast bowl.
Cook on 1000 W for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring halfway
through cooking.

For special rice, substitute beef or chicken stock for
water. Add cooked onion, mushrooms or crumbled
bacon before serving.
Drain and rinse before serving.
Let stand 1 to 2 minutes before serving. Top as
desired with sugar or spices.
