Testing the electrodes

Suggested test for water-normal setting

Note
This test requires the electrode to be in its normal state (e.g. immersed in water).

Inspect the accessible parts of the Control Unit and cabling for any damage, and
the electrode inserts and covers for any leaks or damage.
Bypass the safety function and take appropriate action to avoid a false trip.
Independent precautions must be taken to ensure that no hazard can result
from this operation.
Verify the Control Unit jumpers are set for the required mode of operation.
