The units of Differential inHg (Dfin) and Differential mbar (Dfmb) display the value of Ps2
pressure minus Ps1 pressure in either inHg or mbar. In other words, Ps2 pressure is
displayed as a differential using Ps1 as the reference. This differential pressure can also be
displayed in units of knots or kmph. This is useful when testing Angle of Side Slip (AOSS),
where two different airspeeds have to be simulated on two separate probes on the aircraft.
In the 3-output format, when the Ps2 key in the "Units" section of the keypad is pressed, the
choice of Ps2 units will appear on line 4 of the display, four at a time. The cursor is placed
under the first choice. The cursor position is indicated by the blinking unit name. The arrow
keys can be used to move the cursor. The UP ARROW key moves the cursor right, the
DOWN ARROW key moves the cursor left. AS the cursor moves past the last selection, the
next selection will be displayed. The sample screen below shows the different Ps2 units, with
the cursor at "Dfin", indicated by blinking "Dfin".

When the cursor is moved past "mbar" , line 4 of the display will look like this:

Each time the cursor is moved right, the displayed units will scroll left. When the cursor is
moved to the last selection, line 4 will look like this:

Select the desired units by moving the cursor to the unit of choice and then press ENTER. The
new units will be displayed on the screen and will blink. Also, the actual and target values
will get converted into the new units and the target value will blink. This is shown in the
sample screen below where the units of "inHg" have been selected.

The unit selection will not become effective until the GO key is pressed. The 6600 will return
