Prerequisites

1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2 Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
3 Remove the bezel.
4 Remove the hard drive cage.
Steps
1 On the bezel, press down on the retention clip of the optical drive filler and push the filler until it clicks into place.
2 On the hard drive cage, hold the tabs on the optical drive filler and push the optical drive filler into the optical drive bay.
